As Sweet Potatoes come back in season, we're loving this toast option. It's easy, healthy, gluten free and gut friendly!
Sweet Potato Toast
1-2 Sweet Potatoes (try and find one thats nice and round and will be easy to slice)
Olive Oil or Ghee
Wash and scrub your sweet potatoes until they are squeaky clean. Slice you potatoes into 1/4' slices.
Heat olive oil or ghee on a flat pan and place your slices, once brown on one side flip to the other side.
1/2 tsp jeera
1 tsp salt
Hang your yoghurt in a cloth or nut milk bag for and hour or place it in a strainer over a bowl with a heavy pot on top. Once the liquid has come out, mix your hung curd with jeera, lemon and salt.
Spread over your sweet potato toast and sprinkle with chaat masala or peri peri masala.
1 Ripe Avocado
1/2 tsp salt
Chaat/Cajun MasalaCut your avocado down the middle and twist into two halves. Remove the seed and then remove the peel. Place your avocado on a cutting board and cut into thin slices. Place your knife under the avocado and place it on your avocado toast. Drizzle with lemon, salt and masala.
